Mr Olivier Duval has a very strong technical and functional background on Ariba solutions with over 6 years of experience. He works well both independently and in a team, has excellent communication and customer facing skills. Those qualities help Olivier to take initiative, provide high quality solutions and deliver to realistic timelines.
Olivier has a wide knowledge base, and can communicate new ideas and solutions with ease to customers, partners and co-workers. His background covers software engineering, program design and development, quality assurance and technical/functional consulting.
During his past experiences, Olivier has participated in many projects from their design and conception to the Go Live, giving him the opportunity to learn and apply many times the Ariba Software Architecture and Ariba Project Management best practices.

• August 2004: AXA France – Paris
- Finalization of the migration from Buyer 7.1a to 8.1 including performance tuning of the Buyer Server and of customized Master Data and Invoices integration to a custom backend solution via customer EDI middleware (Tibco and MQ Series).
• September 2004 – October 2004: Ferrovie – Rome
- Migration of Buyer 7.1a to 8.1 including corporate customizations and performance tuning of the Buyer Server & integration with SAP.
- Support post Go LiveTechnical and corrections.
• November 2004: ABN AMRO – Amsterdam
- Design and realization of customization around the integration of Common Data (Users, Suppliers, Organizations…) between Ariba Products (Ariba Spend Management 4.0 : Buyer 8.2.1, Sourcing 4.3, Contract Workbench/Management 2.0, Analysis 3.1).
• September 2004 – October 2005: Poste Italiane – Rome
- Reverse design in order to migrate and re-implement the heavily customized corporate Buyer 7.1a instance to Buyer 8.2.1 including Requisitioning, Ordering and Receiving specific processes via a custom Supplier Network.
- Design and conception of a decentralized Budgetting solution and maintenance tools. Integration with Analysis 3.2 for custom global reporting and KPIs. Post Go Live support.
- Approach of the hardware architecture design for High Availability and Disaster Recovery Plan.
- Technical and Functional leader of a team of 3 resources.
• November 2005 – May 2006: AXA Group/AXA Equitable – Paris/New York
- Design and implementation of the AXA Equitable entity on the AXA Group Buyer 8.1 shared platform.
- Functional workshops & documents writing with the AXA Equitable Purchasing Department.
- Design of the development environment challenging the differences between entities (partitions) and business processes (variants) in order to maintain a global architecture approach.

2001 - 2004- Deployment of the Ariba Buyer Solution over Europe (12 countries) involving a lot of customization such as localized administration tools (eForms) to maintain Master Data and Catalogs.
- Design and realization of the development environment challenging the differences between entities (partitions) and business processes (variants) in order to maintain a global architecture approach.
- Design & conception of a custom Electronic Ordering module to integrate Marketing Orders in SAP depending of the Budget allowed. Integration with SAP & JD Edwards.
- Migration from Buyer 7.0.4 to 7.1a and finally to 8.2.1.
