During the Easter break in April 2009, I worked as a tutor for the University of Hull within a project called Routes into Languages. My task was to introduce high school and 6th form students to languages at university level by using different technics (games, debates, general conversation).

I had to make year 9 to year 13 students practice their French speaking skills by using dialogues. My main duty however was to prepare year 11, 12 and 13 to their GCSE and A Level French speaking exams by working on different topics such as politics, education or environment. Not only all my year 12 and 13 students passed their French exam, but at least 6 of them (on 13) chose to study French, among other subjects, at university.
