2008 - 2010Responsible for the optimisation of the road fuels supply across the UK from owned refinery, thrid parties locations. Negotiations of short term and long term contracts with all oil major players and traders.
Also responsible for the UK Compulsory Stocks management and the subsequent certificates trading (CSO tickets).
2006 - 2008Lindsey Oil Refiney pilot, based in TOTAL UK Head Office, Greater London
- Refinery capacity : 10 MT per annum – 450 employees – Asset 100% Total
- in charge of the operational result of the whole refinery (Op. Result >100 M€ / year)
- to complete the program and optimise the production
- to negotiate on a monthly basis : 100 kt feedstocks, 60 kt intermediate products and 60 kt finished products. To select 800 kt crudes per month. Increased by 6% highly valorised crudes
- to hedge the pricing risks and lock margins using derivatives markets
- to guarantee the supply of Total Uk network and external customers in an optimal manner
- to perform the development studies and provide guidance to Total group on the introduction of new products ex-LOR. Develop possible production routes and costs of production
- to prepare stocks management reports and performance indicators on a monthly/yearly basis.
2004 - 2006Similar position as the current one but for Milford Haven refinery (Wales, UK). Asset shared with US partner Murphy Oil Corp.
2001 - 2004Flanders refinery, Dunkerque, France
Refinery capacity : 7 MT per annum – 350 employees – Asset 100% Total
- to manage a team of 4 engineers
- to prepare the daily and weekly production planning in a cost effective manner
- to define the optimal blending and manufacturing parameters of all finished products
- to optimise approximately 150 production flows and possible routes
- to guarantee the daily supply to the refinery’s customers.
1998 - 2001The Aviation division is in charge of supplying aviation fuels worldwide
- in charge of engineering projects in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Cyprus
- to manage the construction and commissioning of aviation facilities (<1M€)
- to perform operational and technical audits in airports. To provide Total’s partners with technical assistance abroad : Egypt, Cyprus, Baltic countries, UK, Italy.
