Catherine Holc-Taylor

I am French and studied English at the Faculté de Lettres in Aix-en-Provence. I qualified as a Language Tutor in England in 1999. I have City & Guilds and RSA teaching certificates. I was self-employed from 1999 to 2001 in England as a French tutor, employed as a French and English tutor in Paris from 2002 to 2006 and I have been working as a French tutor again in England since March 2007. I teach in the City of London and in the Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames. My clients are professionals such as solicitors and management consultants, who need to develop their skills for business purposes. I also teach adults in general and teenagers preparing exams. I teach in firms, at my students' homes or at mine. My lessons are tailor-made according to my students' needs and wishes. I use a variety of books, magazines and newspapers, I design my own worksheets, I also use audio tapes, CDs, DVDs and the Web to find up-to-date information and materials.
