An experienced Online/Digital Marketing Manager since 1997 with PRINCE2 practitioner status, during this period I have successfully launched many new online initiatives for Juniper Networks, Cisco, Dialogic, the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and Hyundai, including content managed and e-commerce based websites. I've experienced International exposure running projects across Europe, US, APAC. My solid project management and business process modelling along with my online marketing skills enable me to manage and deliver projects on time, on budget and on brand.
My approach is to create an environment where those around me share my passion for the Internet and the opportunities it presents. Sharing my knowledge, championing and communicating the benefits of Web 2.0 capabilities enhances both the user experience and offers additional online communication channels for organisations I work for.
2007 - 2010A UK based role with responsibility for European online strategy and planning including the rollout of various web 2.0 innovation projects. Key achievement; successfully completed the full European rollout of chat online to 17 countries in 13 languages. This application has now become an important demand generation tool for Cisco.
2003 - 2007Formerly known as Eicon Networks Corporation, total service 4 years and 3 months. A UK based role with responsibility for Worldwide online strategy and planning. Key achievements; as part of the Intel Media and Signalling business acquisition, I successfully lead the migration of the telecoms web content into the new Dialogic website structure. Instigated the RFP process and appointed a Global Search Agency to provide advanced knowledge and skills for the current SEO and SEM programmes. My final project for Dialogic was the execution of a new global online visual identity and guidelines. During my time I initiated the development of Eicon's online best practices and standards. Developed an SEO progamme which increased indexed pages by over 300%. Internally managed all multi-lingual SEM campaigns. Lead the redeign refresh and instigated a streamlining programme to optimise Eicon's regional websites reducing content mangement time in the field.
1999 - 2002A UK management role, I was responsible for the e-centre project, CIM's largest financial investment ever at £1.5 million. This involved the launch and development of a completely new look and feel (design is still in existence today), content management system, creation of many new online tools (personalisation) and finally the creation of a new e-commerce engine using WorldPay.
1997 - 1999A UK based role providing full market and product analysis to evaluate product and price positioning for the product management team. Launched Hyundai's first UK website in 1997, then managed the agency relationship and development of the website until I left the organisation.
1996 - 1997A UK based role supporting the events and promotional team. Worked on various activities relating to the 1996 Birmingham International Show.
