KWAN is the founding Principal of K-L ASSOCIATES, a business and management Consultancy, which offers a customised service in trouble-shooting for organisations through accurate diagnosis, pragmatic recommendations and implementation.
He has over 34 years’ extensive commercial, general management, personnel, operations, manufacturing, lecturing and consulting experience in diverse educational and industrial organisations. The latter includes Hawker Siddeley (BTR), AE (T & N), Schlumberger, Glacier Metal Bearings, SMEs, Multinationals and small, private/family firms.
He was educated at London Business School and at King’s College London(1st Class degree - Sambrooke Exhibition, Walter Smith [General] Prize – ‘Double First’ winner). He is a member of AMED (Association for Management Education & Development) and MENSA.
He has helped Clients with motivation & leadership, managing interpersonal
relationships, managing change and growth, rectifying attitudes, TQM, improving personnel performance and processes re-engineering, conflict resolution and ‘compatibility’ analysis, one to one coaching for Chairmen/MDs, increasing sales,
competitive (World Class) manufacturing, strategic analyses and organisational development. He is approved by the BPS to conduct Occupational Testing using psychometric tests (15FQ+, PASAT 2000 etc.) for selection and development purposes. Special research/investigative projects can also be undertaken.
As a Chartered Engineer with additional expertise, he is especially keen to solve
challenging issues within manufacturing, scientific and engineering companies.
Occasionally, his Associates may assist in complex assignments where additional expertise are beneficial.
