Management of the European marketing team based in London, Paris, Milan, Madrid and Barcelona
2008 - 2009As country director for Viadeo UK & Ireland I am responsible for local operations, including marketing, business development, strategic partnerships and business administration.
The team are based in London delivering business services in the following areas:
-MBA and Masters degree promotion tools for business schools and universities to promote their courses to 6 million professionals across Europe and China
-Recruitment and headhunting tools for recruiters hunting at home and across the wider Viadeo network
-Localised and targeted advertising for businesses wishing to promote their services to our active database of professionals.
2008 - 2008Responsible for managing the UK & Ireland marketing for Viadeo, managing the marketing team, strategic partnership development, manage all e-marketing channels, supplier relationships and liaise with head office on global marketing strategy.
2004 - 2008I carried out multiple roles at j4b, adapting as the focus of the business shifted, my skill sets evolved and as I was given additional responsibilities. The roles I carried out included the following:
-International development of new markets in the USA (working in Massachusetts, Philadelphia) and Europe (working in Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic).
-Senior level networking (sponsoring and attending chief executive level public sector dinners, meetings and events) and business development.
-Inbound and outbound marketing of multiple products including activities such as marketing communications, online advertising, working with PR agencies, development of new product proposals and pricing models.
-Product management of all products, market research and forward strategy of products and services.
-Support sales team in their understanding of all products and accompany on sales visits as the product expert. Support the management of the sales team.
-Tender writing for bespoke technical developments and projects.
-Development and delivery of training and implementation programme for online grant management software to local government clients.
2002 - 2004As a lead developer reporting to the technical director, I was responsible for all areas of development of a complex online project management tool developed using ASP.NET and SQL with various other technologies used as required. I was involved in user interface design, problem solving, database design, coding at all levels, deployment, mentoring, and delivery of work packages to junior staff. I also developed marketing materials to support both online and offline sales.
I began working at Pan Atlantic primarily due to my academic and business experience of the .Net environment and programming languages gained during a sponsored university project. During this time I developed many skills including:

2001 - 2002I was invited to carry out a software development project for the UK’s largest electrical and mechanical contracting firm. This involved business analysis, design, development, testing and deployment and formed the core part of the third year University project.
The outcome was a functional document management system to be used by a team of dispersed CAD engineers supporting their ISO9001 quality process. I was funded to complete this 12 month project which was successfully developed and delivered on time.
