European sales, MotiveQuest
After 15 years of sales for my own company Shriek my brother asked me to head up European sales arm of his company MotiveQuest.
MotiveQuest is a strategic market research company that uses conversations that people have online (newsgroups, forums, blogs etc) as the basis of their research. The social media phenomenon is huge, and so, the more people talk online in public spaces, the more robust the data becomes.
MotiveQuest is based in Chicago, USA, but is a global company that has done studies in Europe, North & South America and China, and covers about 12 different languages.
My skills are getting on with people and building strong relations with clients over a number of years. This requires good organization, tenacity and buckets of patience!
