I am General Manager of a recruitment company and IT services organisation based in London

I also work with the World's Strongest Man Super Series and World Class Events as Sponsorship Agent. This means working with sponsors, suppliers, merchandising and developing exciting promotion opportunities.

We provide sponsorship and brand awareness consultation as well as individual athlete appearances at corporate events.

Responsible for BT as a global account, active in UK, US (BT Concert), New Zealand, Germany and France. Management of core and virtual teams delivering managed services, outsourcing, systems integration, bespoke applications and hardware from Unisys portfolio and with partners such as Microsoft, Cisco, Motorola, Attachmate, Cramer and Critical Path.

Team within Unisys had a core of 62 people which rose to over 100 during specific projects. Responsibilities included building executive relationships with BT business at board and senior management level, product and marketing strategy, profit + loss responsibility, core and virtual team management, contribution to Unisys business, effective resource management, partner management and internal negotiation for resource and partner choice.

Responsible for the UK Sales and development of call-centre solutions based around Number Translation Services and Energis’ Intelligent Call-Routing platforms. Incorporating ACD / CTI / IVR and Network Services.

Responsibilities included management of a team of 8 pre-contract and 12 post contract consultants, product and marketing strategy, developing partnerships with Systems Integrators and IT companies (Hewlett Packard, Logica, Cap-Gemini, ICL, ITNet and Sema)

Working closely with Energis direct sales force to identify opportunities and add value to multi-layer accounts and their management. Built revenues from £9m to £35m within 18 months. Key client successes included Vodafone, Centrica, Littlewoods, QVC, Royal & Sun Alliance, Freeserve, Dixons, Prudential, Amey, Midlands Electricity and NHS Direct

Responsible for the sale and management of high volume call-centre solutions. Operating within a vertical market incorporating Travel, Transport, Leisure, Vehicle Recovery and Emergency Services. Also successful within utilities and retail markets. Accounts included Orange, Rank Holidays, MEB, Next and Rail Direct. Providing the Rockwell Spectrum ACD, Voicetek IVR and bespoke CTI solutions.
