Business and International Trading graduated with over seven years experience in Supply Chain - Procurement & Sales in the Oil & Gas Industry.
I currently work for Schlumberger as a Procurement Manager responsible for all Supply Chain, Procurement and Third Parties Quality Management for Well Services Segment in the North Sea Geomarket. I am therefore managing a team of buyers based in all North Sea (UK, Norway, Denmark, and Netherlands).
My previous position was with Technip as a Purchasing Specialist mainly for Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation equipment and some Mechanical Packages on the Yemen LNG Project. In this function, I’ve been in charge of Tendering with searching for suppliers, evaluating bids, negotiating contract terms, writing recommendations for client approval and using systems to create and administrate purchase orders.
My experience is focused in the Oil & Gas Industry, which enables me to have a good view of different procurement practices and processes, technical knowledge in piping bulks and strong negotiation skills. I like being part of a team and I’m always willing to assist and advise others when required.
I started in the Ball Valves industry with joining Cooper Cameron Valves and then Tyco Flow Control Technologies as a Project Sales Engineer on a determined sales area. I was then preparing Technical and Commercial offers to answer Customers’ Tenders (both Contractors and EPCs) which have allowed me to gain perfect knowledge of a number of Major oil Companies particular technical specifications.
• Develop sourcing strategies and negotiate contracts for assigned portfolio (around 60M$) utilizing best sourcing practices, with the goal of managing costs, securing supplies, with quality, service, and delivery improvements.
• Negotiate and sign Frame Agreements and Contracts with major suppliers.
• Tender + Obtain & analyze quotations and negotiate total cost elements for portfolio.
• Locate, select and manage a high-performance supply base for assigned commodities or services.
• Lead supplier audits and quality system review efforts.
• Prepare monthly reports as agreed with management.
• Create and execute queries for data analysis, performs regular data analysis.
• Client tender support, including back to back tenders, and sub contracts
• Create, negotiate and maintain supplier’s electronic catalogues in SWPS (Schlumberger Web-Based Procurement System).
• Effectively communicate Operations requirements on global supply chain initiatives
• Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, in all aspects of the Supply Chain activity.
