Directly supervised core project team of 17 Directors, 2 Project Managers, 1 General Contractor and 6 Contractors. Managed contract closeout after early termination for convenience and reduced financial exposure from USD 6M to 2.5M.
2002 - 2003Set-up GSM (Global System for Mobile Communications) Personalization. Coordinated and oversaw all aspects of projects: setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring progress and preparing reports for upper management.

01/2002 – 01/2003
Contract Value: USD 3,100,000
T-Mobile (3rd largest GSM operator in the US) contracted with OCS for the manufacture, personalization and fulfillment of 1.1 million SIM Cards. Project involved the preparation of the platform, systems, process and resources required for this 1st wireless client in the US and to make OCS Rancho Dominguez a self-sufficient GSM personalization site. Completed technology and knowledge transfer from France so that 20% of the production was entirely produced in L.A.(California), which helped increase our local margin by 15%. Project was completed on budget and to expectations.
2000 - 2002Armed with PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate, delivered many large projects by managing cross-functional departments. Developed new business processes and managed 2 direct reports.

Project: Install a microelectronics line in Tewkesbury (UK) able to convert silicon wafers and printed circuit tapes into completed micro-modules ready for embedding. Sourced materials, managed contractors, coordinated workflow, ensured budgets and milestones were maintained. Team included 6 contractors and 53 resources.Business objectives were exceeded with 40-million chips/year capacity and roughly 90% of our embedding capacity was met with local production. Generated immediate savings of over $ 1,000,000.
1999 - 2000Reporting to Operations Director, moved the business forward by defining the role and scope of the project in the most strategically important sector for the N.E. region .
- Liaised with sales and operations to best allocate existing and new customers

Ensure UK plant could host end-to-end GSM personalisation services by Q4 1999. 1st GSM card was produced in August and by December 99, we had already issued 500 000 units. Accounted for implementing the project to time, cost and performance objectives. Led a cross-functional team of 19 people, doubling our capacity, growing our market share by 27%.

ICO Global Communications

ICO initiated a program to procure SIM cards in quantities for the launch of a global satellite based communication service. Oversaw the design and development of ICO SIM cards and coordinated their integration with the User Terminals and the ICO system. Established the order management and provisioning system for the ICO SIMs. Generated revenues over $280,000 as project was closed due to client bankruptcy.
