I've recently stared working at Diabetes UK supporting their many volunteers in the Northern and Yorkshire region.
Having previously worked for a very small charity it's fascinating to be part of much larger one!

Diabetes is one of the biggest health challenges facing the UK today. Diabetes UK is the country's largest charity devoted to the care, treatment and improvement of the quality of life for people with diabetes.
2010 - 2011I managed the 5 events hosted by Viadeo during Social Media Week 2011. The events varied from networking drinks to a huddle!
2009 - 2011My role at Love Is All We Need was very varied and gave me a great insight into all areas of a charity. Highlights were:
* Managing the rebranding of the charity, including launching a new website
* Organising a successful World AIDS Orphans Day Dinner Dance with Annie Lennox
* Quadrupling the support network (via a social media strategy and a strong focus on data collection)
