Acupuncturist & Chinese Medicine Practitioner, The Chinese Medicine Sanctuary

GuildfordSurrey - United Kingdom

The Chinese Medicine Sanctuary provides traditional Chinese medical treatment including acupuncture and herbal medicine treatment in Surrey and South West London by a highly qualified English practitioner trained in both the UK and in China, and registered with the Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine (one of the UK’s main regulatory bodies).

Traditional Chinese medicine is a complete medical system that has been used for more than 2,000 years and views the state of health in a completely different way to conventional biomedicine. The system is based around the Chinese concept of Qi (pronounced chee) and in a normal state of health, flows around the body in a harmonious fashion. When we are suffering from disease this flow of Qi is disrupted and may slow down or stagnate and causes an imbalance in the body’s functioning thus resulting in physical/mental symptoms.

Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine work in a subtle way with your body to restore the harmonious flow of Qi around your body in order to bring back balance by not only treating your symptoms, but also the root cause of your problems so that any changes made are of a more long-standing nature. Traditional Chinese medicine treatment works together with your body’s natural healing processes by supporting and boosting up the areas which are weak or deficient.

It is a very relaxing and calming method of treating the body and can be used to treat most diseases and symptoms so it is always worth getting in contact to find out how The Chinese Medicine Sanctuary may help you.
