Pamir Gelenbe

Pamir is a Partner at Hummingbird Ventures and has been active in the European venture scene for nearly a decade as an entrepreneur and investor. Pamir is an investor in Digitouch, Discoverytel, Doktorsitesi, MarkaVIP, On Device Research, Oxford RF Sensors, and Seatwave. Pamir focuses on investments in the consumer Internet, cloud services, mobile, digital media and software industries. Pamir co-founded Flytxt in 2000 and pioneered the development of mobile marketing technology and services in Asia, Europe and the US. Pamir is also the founder of the Nubridge Venture Summit. Pamir's prior experience includes positions at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners, D.E. Shaw, and Juno Online Services. Pamir speaks fluent Turkish and French, and received a BS in Electrical Engineering Summa Cum Laude from Duke University and a Master of Science in Operations Research from Columbia University. Pamir is also a graduate of Ecole Centrale Paris. Both in 2007 and 2009, Pamir led the selection committee of the Web/Mobility Tech Tour to identify Europe's top 25 Internet/Mobile start-ups.
