Kaflow is an independent engineering consultancy specializing in the provision of flexible, bespoke, economic, integrated and technology-driven engineering and procurement services to the energy and manufacturing industry.

Providing consultancy services to the company, my responsibilities involve:
• Assisting in developing economic business model, financing plans and strategies for short term, medium term and long term growth and development plans.
• Managing the registration of company details and profile with energy companies and contractors with the aim of forming effective and economic partnership for project execution.
• Carrying out market feasibility studies with the aim of identifying potential projects, services and revenue generation opportunities.
• Assisting in developing marketing strategies through liaising and developing relationship with potential business contacts and company presentations.
• Developing overall company policies on quality plan, health safety and environment (HSE), procedures etc.

Working with the company as a partnership program with the School of Applied Science, Cranfield University.

My responsibilities involve:
• Carrying out design analysis of various concepts for offshore/subsea field development with emphasis on flowlines and pipelines.
• Researching into the various causes of pipeline instability with focus on North Sea, Gulf of Mexico and West Africa oil and gas fields.
• Developing analytical procedure and concept for evaluating the stability of deepwater pipelines.
• Developing calculation spreadsheet using MathCad for simplified analysis of pipeline on-bottom stability analysis based on DnV-RP-F-109 for submarine pipelines.
• Evaluating the relative cost savings for deepwater pipeline construction taking into account the pipeline wall thickness, stability issues and material requirements.
• Carrying out a comprehensive evaluation of methods of ensuring stability of deepwater pipelines taking into consideration costs, strategies, logistics, environmental and future trends.

Addax Petroleum is a global independent oil and gas exploration and production company.

My responsibilities involve:
• Providing technical and management support for subsea and onshore pipelines and piping systems concept development, engineering design, construction and testing on various field development projects.
• Designing and reviewing of engineering design drawings and reports to ensure conformance with the project design basis, specifications and relevant engineering design codes and standards.
• Liaising and interfacing with the relevant disciplines and contractors to ensure conformance of project deliverables to the organization’s quality procedures and standards.
• Developing procedures for fabrication, installation, testing and inspection.
• Participating effectively as a team player on various project teams to ensure the speedy completion of projects according to schedule, budget and full compliance with health, safety and environment.

Projects worked on:
• Concept development, engineering design and construction of production pipeline, water injection pipeline, gas lift pipelines and infield flowlines for offshore/subsea field development.
• Various offshore platforms topsides piping upgrade and modification for new pipelines and flowlines tie-in.
• Various offshore and onshore facilities systems upgrade for new manifold installation, well hook-ups, gas lift system and installation of pipeline pumps.
• Concept development for onshore oil block expansion and redevelopment with four satellite fields incorporating flowlines, gas lift systems, gas compression, pigging facilities etc.

This agency is involved in the engineering design, construction and management of facilities required for public water supply schemes. I worked with the technical services department responsible for construction and project management.

My responsibilities involve:
• Assisting the technical services department in project monitoring, management and control to ensure compliance with schedule and quality.
• Maintenance and upgrade of existing facilities and equipments

Suffolk Petroleum is a leading consultancy, engineering and construction services provider to the oil and gas industry.

I worked with Mechanical and Piping department on the Shell Petroleum Development Company’s KC and Chevron’s Okan facilities upgrade projects.

Responsibilities involve:
• Reading and interpretation of process and piping layout engineering drawings.
• Preparing material take-off for cost estimation and procurement.
• Participating in the on-site pressure testing of fabricated spools.
