I have 12 years experience in the field of H&S. the industries I have worked in include, rubber, electronics and pharmaceutical. In 2006 I wanted a change so I set up Safewell to provide H&S consultancy and training.
When I handed my notice in I told my team I would create a company and employ them so we could offer the same level of occupational health and safety services to more than one client. Within two years I have employed 2 of 3. The 3rd already knows a job offer will come within the next 18 months.

Professional experience
1999 - 2007Management of safety function across a 24hr pharmaceutical manufacturing facility with 700 employees and 2 sites. Position on site management committee, H&S budget control, 2 x direct reports and ad-hoc advice to 3 other UK sites. 7 years experience of creating, writing and implementing health and safety management system into multiple business functions. Awarded RoSPA Gold on first application. Close working relationship with Occupational Health. Implemented over 200 safety specific trained employees, i.e. COSHH and risk assessment. Close and open relationship with HSE inspectorate.
