My role in Research Partners is very hands on. I am responsible for all new business and business development. I put together the delivery teams which will either consist of Research Partners employees or freelance researchers that we work with on a regular basis. I also still deliver certain projects myself. Finally I am responsible for recruiting and training our researchers and for their continued motivation.
2001 - 2004I joined Penna Executive Search in 2001. I worked in their TMT team as a Senior Consultant. My role was as a 360 search consultant. I was responsible for winning new clients through to delivering on my own business or pulling together EMEA wide teams of consultants to assist where necessary.
1997 - 2001I joined GUI & Chips in 1997. This was my first position after graduating. GUI was a start up search firm. I joined as the third person to work alongside the MD. After 3 months of training I worked in a 360 consultant role. I was responsible for winning and delivering my own business. I initially worked with networking technology clients but then moved to focus purely on Internet start ups. After one year with the business I was promoted to Senior Consultant. After a further six months I was promoted to Manager and helped grow the company to eight people. I was responsible for recruiting and training new employees who were both researchers and consultants.
