Maxime C.
Infrastructure engineer, BiD Network Foundation
Amsterdam-based foundation, BiD Network supports economic growth in developing countries by helping local entrepreneurs find potential (local or international) investors. Over the last 5 years, Bid Network has helped create about 300 SMEs and 2500 jobs in emerging markets. My role in the organisation is to support and improve the IT infrastructure via the automation of tasks, the normalisation of existing components and the integration of business modules around Drupal CMS, so that BiD Network can help create even more opportunities.
2007 - 2010- was promoted to senior engineer for my proactive approach, the efforts put into developping our lab environment, the coaching/mentoring role played with the new recruits, and finally the work performed to continously improve the quality of support and our collaborations with partners
- Quickly moved from zero knowledge of products to supporting 3 product lines including Security product Firepass. Was identified by management early on in my role as a key person to work with the security products.
- Developed an on-site training program as an introduction to support processes for French customers.
- Have become a key player for very high profile customers and partners, supporting Banks; Telcos; ISPs and am their go-to person for how to utilise F5 products in their environment.
- Replication of customer issues in a lab environment has gained me exposure to a large number of third-party products and has seen me deliver solutions, which allows both parties to work in tandem.
- Continuously identified and escalated sales and consulting opportunities and ensure they are passed on through the key channels, which resulted in increased sales for the Southern Region.
