This can take many forms. My training and experience is in a wide range of performance media. Starting in professional acting in the early 1990's I also taught voice and acting, both as associated workshop programmes with theatre companies and as a freelancer. I gained a teaching licentiate and a diploma in voice studies.
I now work in VOICEOVERS and VOICE ACTING and also teaching and examining in Communications and Performance. I am a qualified TEFL tutor, English as a Second Language tutor and a freelance examiner for New Era Academy of Music and Drama (Voice, Communications, including ESOL Spoken and Written examinations and Performance).
I have recorded for BBC Radio Drama productions, internet drama (Short Story radio) and also as a voiceover(TV and Radio Commercials)including non-broadcast and corporate sectors, especially cartoon and animation character reads and narrations for children and early years. I also develop and record educational resources, both fiction and non-fiction for Educational publishers and multimedia developers - the latest being a set of 5 educational poetry resources on CD for the AQA and OCR English Literature syllabuses. These are available to schools from Zig Zag Education.
Technical narrations for medical, legal, industry and company training provision are also available. I have my own studio to offer fast electronic turnaround with professional quality equipment and recording (WAV, mp3).
VOICE COACHING: I tutor adults and children for special projects, ESL English as a Second Language provision, business presentation and Public Speaking, speaking for ceremonies -Ecclesiastical and Humanist,on-going speech, elocution, reading for performance, acting technique, musical theatre, interviews and auditions and media presentations.
Self-employed voice and vocal tutor and speech examiner.

A freelance Voiceover Artist and Voice Actor, with training including RADA and New Era Academy.
I voice Radio and TV Commercials,(including UKTV Drama's So Good Essential Soya Milk advert in 2007) and I am an experienced narrator of audio books, children's stories, animation and drama.
Clients include World Wide Group, narrating the Paws on the Moors, Peak District Country Park animation, UKTV Drama, Living Paintings Library, WRBS Radio (USA), Shoofly and Zig-Zag Education Publishers, TTS Group and Granada/SEMERC. The BETT finalist "Strumbie Island" SEN CD-Rom (playing 11 different characters on a magical island) was developed by Q and D Multimedia for emotional literacy development.
I am currently the voice of the Co-op and have played Brigitte Kuhlman in Situation Critical - Attack on Entebbe (for National Geographic channel 2007). I regularly play sheep, dogs, monkeys, in-animates, couch potatoes (literally!) and an extensive range of dramatic, comedy and vocal characters. I have a native neutral / RP accent and an increasing repertoire of internet, e-guides, technical and corporate clients (including MKM, Dot Com Imaging, Moodmedia) requiring straight narrations or voice and presentation coaching. 1996 - 2006Independent girls boarding school for 11-18 year olds.
I ran the Speech and Drama department, co-ordinating timetables, teaching of Acting and Communication subjects for Poetry Society and LAMDA Examinations. I liased with visiting examiners and booked private examination sessions.
I also coached in interview and audition technique, as required.
