As a German national with German parents I don't think it comes as much of a surprise that I grew up in Germany.
The last 15 years, however, I largely spent out and about. I graduated from the University of Bath (UK) in 2001 with a BA (Hons) in Modern Languages (French & Italian) and European Studies and in 2004 added an MA in European Studies (French and Italian) from the University of Osnabrück (Germany).
In 2008 I returned to the UK and joined Thermo Fisher Scientific in 2009 as Multilingual Customer Services Advisor. In 2012, I will return to Germany to help develop a site near Heidelberg.

In my free time I enjoy socialising with old and new friends. My other hobbies include travelling, reading, cinema.

German is my mother tongue. I speak fluent English and French and my Italian isn't bad either.

I am performing my work for Leprêtre & Partners mostly from my home office and from the offices in London 1 or 2 days a week. My job consists in identifying potential new corporate clients, primarily small and medium sized enterprises. In order to do so I am accessing various data resources (Yellow Pages, business directories, FAME database, etc.), use social media networks, attend trade shows and networking events, etc.
I am also responsible for producing and translating marketing material (mainly into French).

Conversor Ltd is a UK-based hearing solutions company, which provides innovative and affordable products aimed at helping people of all ages who experience hearing difficulty.

I started working for Conversor Ltd in March 2006; first on full-time basis from a home office in Germany and now commission-based. Since I am now living in the UK, my work for Conversor is mainly through telephone and e-mail with occasional client and trade show visits in France and Germany.
My role is to develop market and distribution channels across France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland through marketing campaigns, social media networking, trade shows, etc.
Together with the marketing teams of a major European hearing aid manufacturer I developed a marketing strategy for Conversor products throughout France and Germany.
Another important part of my work is to liaise with new and existing stockists and distributors and sometimes providing aftersales support to end customers.
I am also responsible for producing and translating marketing material for the German and French market. Finally I am responsible for all French and German sales/orders/ accounts and correspondence.
