1988 - 2008Over 40 years in the Construction & Aliied Trades as a Service Engineer and in Management gives me the necessary skills & experience to provide a specfic & professional health & safety training service to all sectors of Trades & Industry.
In 1988 I qualified as a RTITB Registered Training Instructor and decided to go self-employed as a Freelance Training Instructor. In 1990 I also qualified as a Registered Instructor with the CITB and commenced traded as: - "Applied Training & Safety Management", in 1992 became a founder member of NPORS.
Since then I've been a member of the British Safety Council and qualified for membership with the IIRSM and the RIPH
In 2000 I formed my own limited company; "Kevin Needham Ltd" trading as: - "Applied Training & Safety Management" and now employ several known & trusted Registered Freelance Trainers.
We provide On-site Health & Safety Training at all management and operative levels and have an enviable list of major clients -ie: BMW Oxford - Vauxhall Motors - Ford Retail - BP Oil - Shell Fife - United Utilities - BNFL - British Gas - Tarmac - Taylor Woodrow - Gleeson - Bovis - Edmund Nuttall - Balfour Beatty - Alstom Power - Scottish Power - Bonus Power,Denmark - Siemen Power UK - Llyods British - etc.
