32 years in engineering, beginning with 10 years of HF, VHF and UHF radio systems design - systems, drives, receivers and transmitters - then missile system and safety-critical aircraft system design.

Then 22 years in IT, beginning as a programmer (Phocal: Philips Office Computer Assembly Language - punch cards and paper tape!), through z80 and z8000 assembly language (and machine code) to Coral 66, C, Perl, Unix and windows scripting & VB.
