I have 25 years in the enthralling world of recruitment. I started out recruiting secretaries, then spent ten years recruiting accountants before seeing the light and moving onto more fascinating industry sectors.

Over that time I have recruited across all the functions from CEO downwards including HR, IT and operational roles. A significant number of searches in recent years have been for global candidates and many for overseas roles.

Whilst it's true that what we do isn't rocket science - it's about recruitment after all and rocket science is about putting rockets into space -what we do do invloves a lot of hard work, research, planning and persistence. It once took me 4 months for a candidate to agree to meet me for a cup of coffee, as he was very happy with his company, but he now works for my client!
