I have spent the last 6 years in Sales Consultancy and Training, providing services on a freelance basis, assisting overseas companies bring their software products to the UK and Europe. This has in the past involved mainly US companies, but has more recently involved E. and C. European companies.

During this time I have also carried out sales and customer service training for 2 well known telcos (Orange and T-Mobile); Sales and marketing consultancies; bid management and recruitment. Training given has mainly been at either a basic or 1-2 yrs experience level, or customer services, mainly in the area of customer retention.

In addition, through Middle East Training Services (METS) and in association with a London based Marketing Training school, I provide general Business and Management training to the Gulf States

I completed a contract working for BT, providing the sales and marketing input and training to assist the launch of a new consultancy offering, and another providing business development to a London based software house and consultancy.

In essence I am an experienced interim sales consultant and trainer, specialising in service and conceptual sales to the SME sector, and building channel relationships in UK and Europe.

Within sales, most successful selling concepts and services, his determination and stamina help him to start from cold, developing new business opportunities and taking them to completion, with sales cycles ranging from 1 to 18 months.

Recently acting in a sales/marketing management role with a specialist IT technical consultancy and
previously engaged with major UK telcos, having carried out sales training and sales consultancy, he is comfortable dealing at all levels within organisations of varying sizes, from clerk to main board director. He is also successful in developing business relationships and revenue within existing clients, while his man, sales and project management skills enable him to use available sales and support resources to best effect.

A more than able recruiter/resourcer he has shown that his knowledge of the IT sector can prove invaluable in both winning and servicing recruitment requirements.
