CEO, TGTSI
A potted Bio. 12 December 2011 13:07
It was only after I retired from the Army that I became interested in 'Blogging' on the Web. Even now there is, to my mind, an oddity about it in discussing the personal details in relation to one's own life history. As you may guess, I'am of the old school type, with attitudes much reinforced by military rules, that careless talk is a danger. It really does take some time to loosen up a bit.
However, here goes. I had a long term military career. On retirement, I worked with the UN/NATO -in Logistics and Procurement.
I now head - up the TGTSI Foundation, which is mainly concerned with Motivational Traveler Safety and Security, and mainly deals with Overseas Domestic Incident Frauds (DIFs) for corporate's insurance, the fake crash epidemic etc.
A distaste of mine is that, being now a civilian I'm required to pay Value added or Sales Tax when visiting other countries and have to go through a number of procedures to reclaim these taxes.
No country makes this process easy so I persuaded the Foundation to do something about it....which is why we developed our own 'Chip' to partner a Mastercard charge card. It is especially designed to facilitate the small business budget or individual traveler. With the same content facilities, allowed by convention, to Military and Governmental Agency staff.
My children claim that I'am just an old war-horse who refuses to go out to pasture, this may well be...but, I never received so many thank you comments from anything I did before.
