Hello and thaks for looking in. I'm the Owner/Director of Coady Consultants Ltd. The joys of self employment mean long hours-so I felt that if this were to be the case, I might as well enjoy what I do.
And I do, immensely. I get to meet and work alongside people, build up good. solid working relationships and learn something from them every day.
My Company provides Development Coaching, Conflict Resolution, Mediation, Team Building and Development.
We are currently engaged in what promises to be a an interesting and influential programme to develop Dignity at Work Advisers and a Mediation Team in a large (2,700 employee) organisation.
We are also contracted to provide and deliver sensitive investigation processes to inform HR personnel and others, of relevant issues related to disciplinaries
We also work in Schools and Colleges, finding ways with which to engage with young people who may be experiencing some challenges. Much of this work requires us to deliver alongside learning mentors, health professionals and other staff from a range of agencies and services.
Life is never tedious here: great!!
4 contacts1999 - 2002To deliver the Local Authority's Behaviour Support Plan by developing a coherent approach from pre-school, statutory and post 16 provisions.
My greatest achievement was to work with colleagues to develop an effective communication strategy between Education and Social Services.
I regard this period as pivotal in developing/enhancing a rang of skills and approaches related to the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Children and Young People and a significant contributor to our current profile.
1997 - 2009Prepare the Local Authority Behaviour Support Plan
Oversight, planning and budgetary responsibility for a multi-faceted service of 90+ colleagues
Co-working with Education Psychologists, Education Social Worker and Social Service colleagues to increase the effectiveness of our strategic response to children and young people with Behavioural Challenges-this included a significant element of Child Protection work
