I run a busy business based in Norwich combining therapies that are permentant and effective with tangiable rewards.
I currently offer a six worskhop course titled "Learning to Love myself again."
The course is completely focused on self image, confidence and moving forward by over coming our fears and concerns, that dominate our lives. A positive and effective course, that every one can find emotional, practical and generally potential life changing reward from.

Also available are ante natal and post natal courses too.

As well as one to one sessions and tuition in tradtional therapies such as Reiki.

I am a busy mum based in the Norwich and Norfolk area.I became self employed after my daughter was diagnosed with a condition called Perthes Disease 2 years ago.

I studied Reiki as a self interest, whilst working in Norfolk Social Services. However when my daughter went into a wheel chair, I discovered the advantages of practicing the skills I had not only for and on her behalf but with others also.

I subsequently decided to offer the benefits to others and with durther study qualified in a range of services that support transition, stress and allow us to say "I can" rather than say "I can't"

I worked for Norfolk Social Services Sensory Support unit for over four years. Prior to this I worked with physically disabled individuals promoting their independance and working towards de-instituionalising them. An occasionally hard but rewarding job.

I currently work as a self employed trainer, and consultant complementary therapist.
I work with in groups, individual basis and offer consultation to corporations and small businesses how they might best offer a comprehensive package so they might get the best out of their work force byreducing long term sickness.

Health and pharmaceutical

My company offers traditional, proven therapies with a modern approach. My dynamic company offers the benefits of complimentary therapies whilst reducing long term sickness and expectant parents hopefully a significantly less stressful pregnancy with Alternatively You Ante natal and post natal groups.
If you worry about feeling big, if labour hurts, will you be a good parent or the prospect of new responsibility is over whelming than Alternatively you is just when you need.
Why? Because every thought and every emotion is perfectly valid. There is no right or wrong, they are your emotions. So lets work with those emotions so the ones that rule are the good ones, that help us enjoy your personal journey to having that beautiful new baby!

Have you considered that by offering a holistic programme of counselling and complimentary therapies could significantly reduce your long term sick amongst your employees. Stress and other related illnesses account for 1/4 of the work force followed by bad back problems. So whats in it for you?
What about employing a group of practioners that offer counselling and complimentary therapies such as what i am qualified in to adress the problems, and lets face it regardless of whether the stress is work or home based it all costs... so which would be cheaper £40 a week or a full weeks wages with no return, you do the sums!

The therapies that I offer are all non invasive, and work amazingly well on their own, and along side modern medicine.

I hold regular groups and work shops working on self esteem, and learning to love and like oneself, because lets face it we are our own worst critics!

Reki practioner tuition also available.
Also provision and retail of crystals for healing.

Pampered Parties also offered

2002 - 2006

I worked as an assistant prationer in social services representing and supporting profoundly Deaf people whose firth language was British Sign Language.
Responsible for core assessments, accessing charitable and state funded services.
Arranging, managing and monitoring packages of care, accessing budgets from individual teams across the counties.

Also responsible for sourcing independant areas of funding and services both with in and out side county borders.

Accurate record keeping and meetings arranged.
use of interpreters and support workers and advocates used.

Life skills provided and occasionally taught.
Due to the complexity of the language barrier and expectations services and support were often sourced "out side the box" this brought unexpected but enjoyable results.

Prior to joining social serivces in 2002 I worked as a care worker in John Grooms Court, a british charity established to support and house people with physical disabilities.
The home offered housing for 20 residents, all of whom had varying physical and mental needs.
The role of staff at John Grooms court was to de institutionalise those that lived there. Offering support and tuition regarding life skills and independent living.

There was a hight expectation that one provided a good standard of care, whislt encouraging where ever possible individuals to do as much as possible. Not easy when it could be quicker and easier to do it yourself.

Care plans, physical care, medication and close working with external agencies was necessary.
An excellent sense of humour and a desire to improve lives was essential.

Courses/training under taken were Moving and handling.
