My current role involves both tendering for new business and providing support to existing contracts. I work closely with a number of customers to provide the most appropriate solution required for their changing business needs. This involves managing other members of staff ensuring accuracy and quality of their analysis. I am directly responsible for providing budget cost models, tender documents and presentations.

Logistics Analyst/Support Analyst 2002-2006

As a logistics analyst I gained experience in all aspects of the logistics process such as data analysis, transport modelling and budget costing.

Management Graduate Scheme 2001-2002

I joined TNT Logistics as part of the Graduate Management Trainee programme. The first year involved working in various roles in which I developed the skills required for logistics management. The core competencies acquired were all traffic office functions such as, planning and driver de-brief. I also implemented a new contract and had a three-month secondment in business development.

I have been actively involved in the implementaion of 2 new contracts.

In this role I investigated as to the whereabouts of clients previously with the employment service. This involved constant communication with the general public and employers via the use of telephone fax and e-mail. I also produced analytical and statistical reports for the employment service, providing conclusions & solutions to tracking issues.

I acquired a wide range of skills, including people management, training and team motivation. I developed knowledge of working to financial budgets and targets. In addition, I developed an automated stock system, which was used in 5 clubs. I also presented the system to regional managers on two separate occasions.
My role as a duty manager meant that I was responsible for managing all departments, key holding, cashing up and ensuring a smooth running leisure centre.
I was also involved in the opening of three new multi-million pound leisure facilities throughout England where I was used to train and implement systems with new food and beverage managers. I was also involved in the recruitment of new staff.
