Secretary to Divisional Leaders and Personnel, The Salvation Army North-Western
I am a graduate of Liverpool University(B.A. Hons English and French). After university I worked in a community centre in Liverpool as a Parent Support Worker/Administrator.
In Decemeber 2006 I began work as Secretary to Divisional Leaders and Personnel at The Salvation Army's North-Western Divisional Headquarters. This is a very busy and varied role which includes diary management, arranging travel, accomodation, meetings, training and events, taking notes in disciplinary hearings and other meetings, keeping staff records,and assisting in recruitment amongst many other duties.
In June 2009 I completed the ECDL certificate and I am an experienced audio typist. I work to deadlines, using my own intiative and prioritising my workload.
I have strong communication skills, both written and verbal and completed a certificate in Basic Counselling Skills in my spare time to further improve in this area.
