Wind tunnel test engineer, working in Airbus UK but testing all over Europe (ONERA low speed and high speed WT, ETW, ARA, DNW).

WT test engineer: validation of recorded data, data acquisition and postprocessing (corrections), measurement technique installation, specify software for data postprocessing, work on the improvement of blockage correction method.

from Sept 2006 to Dec 2008

Main task: Prepare, run and report the wind tunnel test of a new high-lift system in the Airbus UK low speed wind tunnel.
Others: Analyse of PSP (Pressure Sensitive Paint) results, testing in ARA (Bedford) four configurations of aircraft in a high speed wind tunnel.

-> First good experience in wind tunnel: different measurement techniques, data acquisition, repeatability, and comparison with CFD. Monitoring of the project: model design and manufacturing according to specs, contact point with data customers, and respect of cost & time.

7 months (February to August)

In charge of setting up a new IT tool for workers in all the plants in Nantes. My mission was to give trainings to the line supervisors. I have trained approximately 200 people. The IT tool was a better interface between manufacturing operations and SAP.

-> The result of my internship was a success, and the tool is now in full progress. The contact with the workers was very instructive.

4 months (June to September)

Working placement in the manufacturing process of anti-vibration systems for the automotive and machine tool industries.

-> First proper contact with industry.
