www.Sports-Buddies.Com is an on-line forum for sports and active people across the planet, enabling people to make contact, meet and play the sports and activities they love!! Phase II of the website is now completed, BUT not live yet - the main new aspect of Phase II of the Website is a detailed CLUB profile page, to enable clubs of all sizes (from your local village club, all the way up to your local sports/health club) an (initially) free listing, enabling them to upload their club Emblum, facilities, members, players needed, etc,

The maps we use will then not only reveal local people wanting a game of tennis (for example) but will also show the local tennis club(s) ib their area - with a direct link to their website/club -creating a DIRECT link between people/buddies AND clubs.

So, for example, if someone searches for a tennis partner in Dorset, the local tennis club(s) in the area will appear on the same map. This is in order to create a direct link between members looking to play the sport or do the activity they love AND clubs in their specific location, and with a direct link to the clubs website.

The second main addition to Phase II is a sports Forum/Blog, where people can talk about the sport(s) and activities they love throughout the UK....and the world.

We have joined various on-line networking groups such as Linkedin, and we have made several contacts, who are interested in working with us. HOWEVER, until Phase II is finished shortly, we are not approaching these people just yet, although we are maintaining a dialogue with them. Interested parties:

We are also looking to create a TEAM of like minded people who understand our concept, which simply aims to get more people more active, in accordance with Sport-England's objectives, and with ever increasing concerns about child obesity.
