This position allowed me to develop a thorough understanding of the WEEE and Batteries Regulations in the United Kingdom.

Responsible for the day to day running of the scheme:

- appointing contractors to collect, treat and recycle the WEEE obtained from DCFs

- liaising with and reporting to the Environmental Agency quarterly and end of year WEEE reports

- providing advice on WEEE compliance related issues to scheme members

-Manage the reporting obligation of 2 different compliance schemes: WEEE, Battery meeting strict deadlines.

-Improved WEEE data management to provide enhanced reporting standards to scheme stakeholders (Environment Agencies, local authorities, producers, etc.)

-Accountable for being the first compliance scheme in the UK (amongst 35 compliance schemes) to submit its Declaration of Compliance for the compliance year 2009, 2 weeks ahead of any other scheme.

-Deliver carbon footprint analysis of WEEE and Battery compliance schemes activities

-Represent the WEEE compliance at various stakeholder meetings
