I am responsible for managing and co-ordinating events from inception to completion, including conferences, exhibitions, business workshops and networking receptions.

This includes:
o Managing a team of people;
o Forecasting and overseeing budgets;
o Drawing up invitation lists and managing mail-outs and RSVPs;
o At the event support, including set up and tear down, registration management;
o After the event feedback and report writing;
o Managing databases (British & Irish Tour operators, corporates and DMCs );
o Providing support during face to face meetings and partnership building with clients;
o Supervising training sessions for travel agents in the UK and educational trips in France for tour operators

My experience of managing events includes:
o World Travel Market, London Excel (including 94 French suppliers and four days of workshops);
o Workshop France , London (involving over 400 guests);
o Ski Evening, London (involving over 120 guests);
o Rendez-vous en France, France (involving approximately 1,000 guests);

As part of a six-month internship, I was part of the both the Sales and Events teams, earning valuable experience organising seminars and congresses for up to 300 guests. My responsibilities included updating client databases; writing press releases, advertising copies, technical periodicals etc; and providing support during face to face meetings with corporates and DMCs.

As part of a four-month internship, I was responsible for organising an educational tour for tour operators. My responsibilities included designing flyers, leaflets, brochures and other off-line material in English and French.

As part of a four-month internship, I was maintaining and updating the tourist office web site for French, English and Spanish users. My responsibilities included developing a Quality Chart for Bed & Breakfasts as well as designing different promotional flyers.
