I manage the EMEA operation for the Security Management Resources (SMR) Group, the largest specialist security management search firm globally.
Formed in 1998 SMR are the only firm specialising in this sector to have consultants based both in the Americas and Europe. My colleagues within SMR all have significant senior level management experience leading corporate security programs across a wide range of industries for some of the world's leading organizations. This ensures clients will have a subject matter expert with “real world” experience directly involved in their project.
I have over nine years practical experience recruiting security management personnel and have successfully completed projects in over forty countries. In addition to this I have two years experience within the security industry and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Security Management from the renowned Scarman Centre at the University of Leicester.

2005 - 2007Hanover Search & Selection are a leading European financial services search & selection firm. Following a business review in 2005 they diversified into non-financial services areas including corporate security and legal recruitment.
I jointly headed a corporate security recruitment practice whigh sourced personnel in areas including physical and IT security, business continuity and fraud.
Projects I managed included locations such as Dubai, Nigeria, the UK, South Africa and Pakistan.
2000 - 2005SSR are a UK based firm who recruit personnel within areas including safety, engineering, sales, and security.
I ioined SSR as part of team of four that recruited security and safety personnel with a strong UK focus. Developed my area of specialism; security management personnel until I became the largest biller in the firm and managed a team of two consultants.
Developed strong relationships with many global organisations and supported their businesses through the identification of senior level security management personnel. Projects ranged in location from the UK, Belgium, Czech Republic, Russia, the US, Brazil, Hong Kong, Equatorial Guinea, Spain, France, Germany, Iraq and many other locations.
Personally represented the firm at conferences and seminars in the UAE, Denmark, Spain, Netherlands, Germany and US.
1999 - 2000This small recruitment consultancy specialised in two main areas, security and international recruitment.
I expanded previously under-developed Manned Guarding and Security Management sectors, both in the UK and internationally.
1997 - 1999Euro Security Systems are a small, Hertfordshire based security systems installation company who have developed an excellent reputation and a high-profile commercial client base.
I joined the organisation as Operations Support, reporting to the Operations Manager and was subsequantly promoted to Technical/Systems Co-ordinator, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
