I am currently a section editor of the Daily Mail. I co-manage the television department, responsible for creating the TV listings and feature pages for Weekend magazine and the daily paper. This position involves liaising with the top-level management, dealing with contributors, TV companies, PRs as well as managing staff. I am involved in the complete production process of more than 60 pages a week, including forward planning, contributing ideas, commissioning, editing, writing, picture selection and page layout. It is a highly pressured, responsible position, requiring exceptional organisational and communication skills, the ability to juggle tasks and meet very tight deadlines all while producing work that is of a very high standard.
