I am the founder and Managing Director of Haylejana Recruitment Services Limited
Having completed my secondry education I then attended Halton College in Widnes, Cheshire where I obtained a BEC General Diploma.
Having then spent a few years in a sales environment I found my 'niche' in recruitment. I now specialise in Commmercial, Industrial and Executive Search & Selection.
In March 1982 and started on the path to Industrial Temping mainly in the Warehousing & Distribution Sector.
From here we slowly expanded and opened a Commercial Temping Desk putting temps into a Customer Services Call Centre.
In 1996 we opened our Executive Search & Selection Desk which started off life sourcing Logistics Managers and General Managers. Since then we have helped to place Mananging Directors, Finance Directors and Sales Directors to business in the Logistics, Manufacturing & Food Sectors.
In the last 10 years we have recruited for Logistics start up operations and been responsible for the entire staffing of three national distribution centres.
This year we have become a Limited Company and have opened a Regional Office in Scotland

1983 - 1983I was responsible for the Marketing of Bottled Gas to Industry and Private Homes.
In order to expand the company and gain a greater share of the market I set up several stockists which enabled us to supply a much wider area stretching from Liverpool northwards to Preston and southwards as far South Cheshire.
1981 - 1982The business started off life as a petrol filling station also selling a few second hand JCB's and tractors from it's on road frontage.
In a period of 12 months I sold over 200,000.00 GBP of JCB's and earthmoving equipment to the construction industry and built up a Plant Hire desk from scratch which was turning over 4000.00GDP per week in it's first 12 months.
I also took on several agencies selling small hand tools, concrete mixers and pressure testing equipment.
1980 - 1981This was my first job upon leaving full time education.
I was a trainee in a transport office where I learnt about route planning, drivers hours, vehicle weights etc.
I left the job with a good ground knowlede of how to plan deliveries and driver hours law.
I waqs responsible for putting in a system to operate returned items more effectively.
