Brief Background...
Following ten years as a photographer I turned my attention back to graphic design and while working within my own design studio I found my work efforts being directed more and more toward volunteering my skills to charities. In 1999 I began the process of putting some structor to my voluntary work by establishing "Design Aid" a registered charity and company limited by guarantee and without share.
My interests of course revolve around creative services and supporting the society, social framework and charitable causes that support the world, the societies and the environment in which we live. I am very interested in both charity and social enterprise and how our working and business practices can support others as well as generate income or profit.
Not a socialist but a huge John Ruskin fan!

I set up Design Aid in 1999 as a registered charity as way of formalising my charitable work into a an organisation that could sustain a workable program of services for years to come.
