Coming from a customer services background, I bought the Dundee, Perth, Fife and Angus Franchise of Distribution Unlimited in November 2006. Primarily a leaflet distribution company, we specialise in bespoke targeted solus deliveries to help our clients gain the maximum impact from their advertising message. The value of our service is in the communication. We suggest or agree the best areas to cover, we go and deliver to those areas at an agreed time, and afterwards we provide maps showing exactly the area covered so our clients have a record to help plan future deliveries. We can even provide non-delivery reports for instances where it has not been possible to deliver to an address, e.g. no service access to flats, refusal by householder, etc.
Being from a customer service background, my aim is to consistently provide the level of service that I would expect myself. That is, if I say a delivery will start on a certain day, it will go ahead as planned, and we will cover only the specified areas. Only in extreme circumstances, e.g. bad weather or late staff call-offs, is this ever likely to change.
