Barbara Nowacka is a co-founder of http://yoomoot.com/ She was involved in a variety of graphic/web design & development projects. During her MA Interactive Media course at the University of the Arts London she researched social media, collaboration tools and personalised search engines. It was one of the projects on the MA which inspired her and fellow graduate Nicolas Holzapfel to found yoomoot shortly after graduating.
Before her MA Barbara studied Computer Science, then Graphic Design, while, at the same time, continuing to work.

I was responsible for product and concept development, branding, interface and user experience design, usability testing and communicating with/managing the developers.
I also understand the legal, business and marketing side of developing web 2.0 applications.
I worked on information architecture of IAL - a part of www.bis.gov.uk.
I tested, analysed, suggested improvements and created wireframes for Share Street - a social network for professionals working with children;
I designed BT Vision website, Dell's web banners, Honda flash presentation, Cinzano website.
I worked for a variety of agencies: Dennis Publishing, Cosmic ID, The Brand Conspiracy, Crayon Advertising, Spinnaker, The Collective, MBA, Vivid Lime, Enfatico, and Davison Williams
I freelanced for various companies doing everything from branding, web design, actionscript, xhtml/css and technical consultations to concept development (i.e. LG fridge of the future)
