Nutritional therapy is a complementary therapy,
meaning it can work alongside orthodox medicine. It
is a way of using food and supplements to encourage
the body’s natural healing. Nutritional therapy can
help a wide range of individuals from children to
mature adults, and benefits may be found for a wide
range of conditions, including migraine, hyperactivity
and depression.
At the initial consultation, a nutritional therapist takes
a highly detailed history covering all aspects of your
health and well being including medical, dietary
and family history. This will allow the therapist to
discover whether you have any problems such as food
allergies, nutritional deficiencies, toxic overload or
general nutritional problems. It is also possible that
your nutritional therapist may suggest carrying out
investigations such as hair mineral analysis, hormone
tests or food intolerance tests. While you are being
treated the therapist will suggest foods you should eat
and foods to be avoided. As with most complementary
therapies a nutritional therapist treats their patient
holistically rather than focusing on any one specific
problem area.

or we can design a life." - Jim Rohn
