2009 - 2008• Managing the day to day running of the Train to Gain contract of £500k
• Liaising with specialised delivery training partners.
• Formulating business and marketing plans identifying new business opportunities. Planning Train to Gain events and business activities for the year ahead
• Organising and implementing marketing activities including sales calls within the Train to Gain team.
• Performing market analysis and collating information for future Train to Gain courses.
• Forming and writing business plans and training delivery programmes within the local community.
• Account managing over 50 companies, and dealing with repeat business with long standing partners.
• Arranging meetings with new clients to ascertain companies training needs and business challenges and performing and collating ONA’s and TNA’s. Providing guidance and support with the company to the completion of the delivery of training.
• Attending Open Days, Recruitment Fairs and other seminars which provide introductions into the local working community with local businesses.
• Working in partnership with local skills brokers in promoting Train to Gain with local companies.
• Working with sector skills councils and local business link, in promoting training within the local community.
